Once again Acadiana Business brings a meaningful new event for the area's business elite: a luncheon honoring Acadiana's Top 50 private and publicly-held companies.

The list and accompanying analysis will be published in a special cover feature on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Top management from each of the Top 50 private businesses and the locally-based, publicly-held companies will be invited as guests to a luncheon held in their honor. Tickets will be available for sale to others who want to attend in honor of their colleagues in business.

Keynote speaker will be Charlie Cook, respected political analyst, publisher of The Cook Report and native son of Louisiana (from Shreveport and a former aide to Sen. J. Bennett Johnston). Cook's wit and wisdom will be well-timed to offer insight into the fall mid-term elections.
