State Rep. Rickey Hardy, D-Lafayette, was honored this week by East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore for Hardy’s legislative efforts on behalf of the statewide Witness Protection Program. Hardy was presented a plaque during a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open a new juvenile facility in Baton Rouge on Monday. The plaque reads:
“In recognition of your outstanding efforts regarding 2009 Regular Session HB70 Witness Protection Services Act Funding January 4, 2010”
