ReProm to benefit LEF
The prom to end all proms went down at the Hilton Lafayette to benefit the Lafayette Education Foundation. More than a dozen prominent community members filled the ballroom for a Fantasy Island-themed bash that included a hefty dose of tropical eats and wares from grass skirts and leis to coconut bras and a clever homage to Gilligan's Island by The IND's Laura Ketteringham (aka Ginger) for the evening. At a dollar a vote, the prom court theme was "vote early and often" - something supporters of Kelsey Corrigan and Gifford Briggs clearly did. The duo was crowed queen and king of ReProm.
